I was referred to Robert "Bob" Hickey by a close family friend. I have never had any experience with the legal system, and was quite concerned about what the proper procedures and steps would be. My first meeting with Bob was over the phone and he immediately made me feel like I was going to be successful in my upcoming "challenges." He articulated all the next steps and made me aware of the reality at hand, while injecting a compassionate and genuinely concerned tone to keep me from getting too overwhelmed.

Last year, I was facing several charges of a very serious nature. Because of this I contacted several criminal defense attorneys and, after a lengthy process of face to face discussions, I chose Mr. Robert J. Hickey. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During the length of my case, all of my inquiries were answered by him or his legal assistant in a timely fashion and with the utmost professionalism. Mr. Hickey, through his legal knowledge, professionalism and effectiveness successfully had the case against me dismissed.

Mr. Hickey is a true life saver!! He represented me for a PC 148 (Obstruction of justice charge/ resisting arrest.) When my case was filed I was devastated, at the time I was currently waiting on bar results and knew that a misdemeanor conviction of this type of crime would be hugely detrimental to being admitted to the State Bar. Mr. Hickey assured me throughout the entire process that he would get me the best possible outcome. Mr. Hickey was there for me through the entire process in which he and his Office Manager Kathie gave me updates after each court appearance. In the end I chose the right attorney for representation. Mr. Hickey after hours of negotiations was able to get my case DISMISSED!!!! I without hesitation would recommend Mr. Hickey to any of my family members if they were faced with criminal charges. Mr. Hickey represented my son on several felony cases in Los Angeles and Orange County. It was very difficult to do but he was able to keep my son from going to jail and got him into a much need rehabilitation program. He was always there for us, and was extremely knowledgeable and very concerned for my son. My son then got into trouble again for probation violations and Mr. Hickey was always there for him. He has a huge heart and very committed to his clients. I highly recommend him.

Robert Hickey is the worst lawyer out there. In the beginning, before I paid him, he made himself available for consultation and always returned my phone calls. As soon as I retained him for my legal needs, he was hard to get a hold of and his secretary always told me he was out of the office. When it came time for my DMV hearing, he had forgot to request evidence and wasn't ready to proceed with the hearing. He stated to me that he was ready and he continued to proceed with the hearing. Of course he lost the hearing because he the main evidence wasn't brought by him. He never made himself available to review my case and work on strategies. His secretary was to busy telling other clients he was in court when Robert is in his office trying to collet money from the new clients. I suggest you hire any other attorney to handle you case. Robert will take your money and lose your case and never call or return your calls. AS LONG AS HE HAS YOUR MONEY, HE DOES NOT CARE WHAT HOW YOUR CASE ENDS

Bob Hickey is the only lawyer I will ever go to when in need if help. He handled my case and assisted me in getting my name cleared in a dispute with a bitter business owner. He gave me answers whenever I needed them and treated me with the upmost respect. He really went above and beyond to help me. I was a young kid and he treated me like a grown man, not ever talking down to me and not holding back when it came to brutal honesty. I was very impressed with the way Mr. Hickey handled our case. He was very knowledgable about the issues with our case. Very professional and since our case involved a teenager Mr. Hickey was amazing with taking care of the reprecussions of the teenagers lack of responsibility. Would recommend him to anyone.

I spoke to a few attorney’s before Mr. Hickey and when it came down to it I felt he was the most knowledgeable not to mention I just felt real comfortable talking to him he was honest and fought hard to win my case.

My experience with Mr. Hickey was great. I made a huge mistake that put my family and my job in jeopardy. Robert was honest and straightforward with me during the most difficult time of my life. My case was not easy. Facing three felony counts with several priors, I thought jail time was inevitable which would have resulted in the loss of my job. However, Mr. Hickey used all the resources at his disposal and I could not be happier with the result. His prices are comparable to other lawyers and worth every penny. Also, his in office staff were always personable and handled any questions or concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend Robert Hickey to any one of my friends or family regardless of the severity of their case.

I met with Mr Hickey about my arrest. He immediatly believed in my innocence. As I told my story to him he was obviosly very mad at the way the police officers handed my arrest. He went to court several times and got my case dismissed. He knows the law and fought hard for me!

I received a DUI and Bob did a good job for me. I never had to go to court and his staff returned my calls promptly. I am not sure if he is a real tenacious lawyer but he did his job well.

I hired Robert Hickey to do a job for me, I paid him in full $1750.00. Hickey went to one court date for me. I ended up getting into some more trouble which would have made the old case more complicated. I could never talk to Hickey myself, so I fired him and hired a new lawyer who I thought would handle both cases better and she was cheaper. When I fired Hickey and asked him to return any unused portion of my retainer fee, he had his assistant of course call me back to let me know the retainer fee was non refundable. I feel as though Hickey robbed me of my money, he could have taken money to cover his time for the first court date but why keep it all? He robbed me and I hope he can sleep at night because I thought he was a family man with good morals who cared about his clients. I was 100% wrong. Don't ever pay Hickey in full...just in case you decide to go with someone else.

I would be in prison right now if it weren't for my attorney, Robert Hickey. He not only represented me well and got me the best results, but has also become a family friend and a role model. I look up to Bob very much. He has compassion and understanding. He not only communicated with me, but also with my husband and family. He is not a good lawyer because he charges above-average and does not go down to the jail and visit you. He lacks communication with clients, and his results are bad. Ps I have no incentive to lie; I'm just being honest. His results were that bad that I'm on this wesite so no one will go through the bad experiance like I did. I trusted him and he let me down.
