Knowing i had no income, He not only asked for money every time he knew I received CS, stimulus check or my taxes, but over charged for investigations i asked him to cancel, and "communication" althought over 8 months he called me 3-4 times and each lasted about 2 minutes. He cares nothing about family, will schedule motions to charge u, and is now attempting to put a lien on my bank acct although I've paid him over $6k. He does not communicate anything of upcoming hearings, does not call or recieve calls prior to or after hearings, But be damn sure he will file another motion about it, because that is another $1k in his pocket.

He is a joke of an attorney, and I am embarrassed to have someone like him represent me in such an important case for me and my family. Do NOT make the same mistake I did.. DO NOT HIRE HIM

Dave Dawson is the Most Lying Disgusting Heartless thing onthis earth. He. Will lie, charge for services he does not do. Charge hours for reviewing documents that he does not. Mistakenly add $$ out of your401k and retirement that should not be given to ex in split. Will not file deed transfers improperly. Will charge you to file for appeals then double charge to cancel against your will. Dawson will leave you sick and unemployed and give all your assets to the ex. He will constantly lie how worse it could be if we go to trial. In my case the mediator, both lawyers and judge all committed malpractice. Dawson made me lose like $300,000 of all my savings, 401k and retirement while allowing my ex to steal from my bank accounts , forge my name and cash refunds, withdraw $50,000 out of his 401k when accounts were to be frozen Dawson is the Worse Attorney on this Earth Dawson is Dispicable I am filing with the Michigan Bar Association and I beg everyone else to do so We need to do this

Do not ever use David Dawson!!! Yes, he lies only to make more money! He would bring me to court and I would sit for hours and then he would tell me my ex never showed up! Then I would be billed! Then I would find out, my ex was never I informed to appear. That happened several times. I realized what he was doing. I got to the point I couldn't believe him or trust him. Then I would get their early and wait to see if my ex showed up, I never saw him come in, and Dawson would come out and say my ex didn't agree on things, like he was there! And I knew he wasn't!!! Be careful, my atty fees hit over $21k. Do not ever use this man!!!!

If you want a lawyer that lies to you... Dawson is your man! If you want a lawyer that misses deadlines, costing you tens of thousands of dollars in doing so... Dawson is your man! If you want a lawyer that doesn't advise you of motions or hearings, and appears without discussion with you, informing you or eveing filing a response (forget about him being prepared)... Dawson is your man! If you want a lawyer that doesn't send you documents, files responses MONTHS late at harm to you, and acts like he is retired in-place... Dawson is your man! If you want a lawyer that lies to get your business, then wrongly bills you... Dawson is your man! Big mistake hiring him. He misrepresented my interests, missed judges deadlines and in the end, cost me tens of thousands of dollars due to his actions. He is a bad lawyer. Your peers even say they won't refer anyone to you Dawson! If you hire Dawson, do so at your own risk and good luck. Read all the reviews... everyone can't be wrong!

I only gave 1's because there is no option to rate 0. The worst attorney ever!!! He lies and sends outrageous bills and charges for work and conferances that never happened. He is rude, defends the OTHER party, he has not defended my rights, yet did the opposite and revoked them by telling me not to respond after my ex told lie after lie about me and didn't let me prove myself innocent. He denied my right to appeal the very biased referee due to the false allegations. He never had a conference with me, but charged me for many. After I told him about the abuse I endure and sent a couple of emails explaining my situation and defending myself against my husbands constant false allegations, he told me not to email him. I expressed that I felt the hearing was judged unfairly, he said it was unfair for the opponent. When I said he wasn't defending me, he told me to find another lawyer. I will gladly do that, but now I'm mid case with no lawyer and an outrageous bill of lies. I deal with enou

Lied in court. Billed for his time reviewing my case, though didn't know case details. Came to court unprepared and tried to 'catch up' right before. Then he lied, misstating details and looked like a fool in court and told me it "didn't matter". To me it does! Was laughed at by opposing counsel who heard him contradict himself and blatantly lie, which the judge caught too. He over billed for all of his 'document reviewing', as he didn't know my case details. He intentionally tried to cause more dispute during FOC parenting discussions. He was completely unprofessional, showed up almost an hour late, then billed for the entire appointment. His communication is a joke. He told me to trust him, let him do his job so that I wouldn't ask questions. Then at mediation he didn't even try to represent me, side with opposing counsel, threatening more debt if I didn't give them everything. He's a professional LIAR that can't live up to his ego. Steer clear!

David Davidson has my full endorsement as the BEST divorce attorney in Macomb County. I felt completely confident being represented by him throughout my 10-month divorce proceeding, which ultimately ended up in a settlement the day of the trial. He truly knows his stuff, and his tenacity and fierce negotiating skills assured an outcome that I am extremely pleased with and exceeded my expectations. He is an exceptionally skilled attorney, and his expertise ensured that he was always steps ahead of opposing counsel. He is thorough, well-prepared, and very responsive in returning phone calls and answering requests for information. There is no one else I would want to represent me in a divorce other than David Dawson.

David Dawson is one of the most dishonest unperfessional over paid attorney I have ever came across. He is arrogant and money hungry and he has no problem lying to the judge's and the judge is so blindsided because they believe an attorney to be truthful and honest. If he thinks he can profit off of someone he has no problem destroying any family life. I hope one day our law system and the commissioners will see that this attorney is not out to abide by the oath he took but he is all about destroying lives. I really advise people to stay away from this guy. Just by reading the other comments people posted on here we can see this so called attorney is very bad and I really hope God will return to him what he does to people's lives and destroying their families.

Hired him to fix my what my previous lawyer messed up, He said he's been do it for years and really knows his stuff. Well he messed it up so bad, worse than my previous gave Ex everything and more, said if I don't like we'll have to go to trial. He did not even give me the basics. Than a HUGE bill. Stay Away

David Dawson did such a poor job representing my divorce case, that the opposing attorney AND CPA that did the business valuation were making fun of him in the hall. He stretched my case out, overbilled me, didn't do his job AND lied to the judge in court. David stated that he did not have proper disclosure regarding putting together a business valuation and the opposing attorney presented paperwork proving that David had indeed had plenty of time (the case took over a year to resolve) to prepare a proper business valuation, which David and Lori Miller did not do. David did not ensure that certain assets that should have been in place were available and due to his negligent representation cost me approximately $200,000 or more in my divorce settlement. To make matters worse, after I told him not to file an appeal with the court of appealson three separate occasions, David filed an appeal AND had the nerve to charge me for doing the work I told him NOT to do. Stay away from this lawyer

this attorney caused me to walk away with just very little child support for 5 children, a car, a foreclosed home which lead us w/o a home cause of all the games he and my ex's attorney ( my attorney joined my ex's 7 misrepresented me terrible , no other attorney would touch my case cause it was so screwed up from all the games they played with my life w/my child) played with my children & my life. it took over 1 year to settle a simple divorce, just to run up a bill that my attorney withdrew out of my escrow account to pay himself off plus my ex's attorney w/o the judges approval. Kathy & Arthur were my ex's attorney's on garfield in clinton township,sure hope all 3 of them gets the saying what goes around comes around.... so nobody else ever has to deal with losing everything thing and not being told the truth , what happened behind the chambers was an entire different story then what i was told.. living in poverty due to the system and untruthful attorney accusing me of terrible BS

David is part of the Macomb County "crew". He can earn decisions other lawyers can't so long as you can afford his hourly rate of close to $400.00. Once that run out, don't expect him to do you any favors. And, that rate didn't mean in my case that I'd get copies of documents or that I would be consulted about decisions or if I were your opinion will be respected - even though you're the client. There are less expensive attorneys out there who can deliver the same product. As for product, if you do hire his firm ask regularly when the law cited in key documents was last up-dated and that ask questions to insure that he understands the facts of YOUR CASE. Approach Dawson with caution

David is the most knowledgable lawyer in the state of Michigan. You would do yourself and anyone involved in the divorce a great favor to hire Mr. Dawson . His understanding and calm demeanor when your going through a divorce is second to none. I would never want to go against Mr.Dawson in a game of cards let alone in a divorce battle. His staff is very patient with you even if David seems not to be. David will let you know what matters and what doesn't so that you can always stay focused. I would not send anyone to another lawyer ever
