Barbara Macy has a deeply experienced understanding of the law, particularly of Massachusetts law, and can quote sections of its real estate statutes from memory. In her practice, she is thoughtful and deliberate. I marveled as she pointed out details and approaches that were either missed entirely or not yet imagined by opposing counsel. Her writing too has the kind of clarity that moves and persuades both lawyers and non-lawyers alike. When Ms. Macy came on board in a very complicated real estate / family law case that was not moving in any direction, she changed its outcome in the matter of a week. As a lawyer whom I trust, she has my highest regard.
