I hired Garver Nov 2014 to handle a divorce.He req'd a $7.5k retainer.He eagerly took my money and advised that I would be kept up-to-date.He assured me that he was knowledgable and capable.He filed court procedings without advising me.When questioned, his staff was useless.It took numerous requests to find out exactly what was filed.I was completly in the dark!When his office finally sent me copies of the filings, they also sent me someone else's docs.Requests for a call were ignored.I realized that I could not trust Garver or his staff.I advised him that I no longer wanted him to represent me.He sucked away my depsoit with silly emails and unuseful advice.He still hasn't given me docs to terminate him yet he has charged me!When all is said and done, I believe that he only should have billed me for 3 hours work.However, he kept $5.5k of my money!I feel cheated and I am very sorry I trusted him.I would never hire him again.BE CAUTIOUS AND DO NOT TRUST STEVEN GARVER!
