I hired Ms. Hahn to represent me in a wrongful termination/EEOC matter. I paid $12,000 flat, which was meant to cover the case with the EOC, including mediation and potential trial. Ms. Hahn would also receive a generous percentage of any settlement in addition to the flat fee. When I hired her, I was told it would take around three months to begin. I contacted her after five months. A month or so later, she did prepare my statement to the EEOC. My former employer refused mediation, my case wasn't strong enough for the EEOC to continue, and Ms. Hahn ended our arrangement. In her initial letter she said I could speak with her about retaining her to represent me if I wanted to sue. I thought I'd already done that. When I contacted her, she was impatient, defensive, and condescending.

The firm is very quick to respond to you. The friendliness of the staff is definitely worth mentioning. No matter who you speak to they will brighten up your day.
The professionalism from everyone made it easy to ask the questions you needed to ask to get things done correctly. Carlos was always there to answer my questions and very helpful.

I chose to utilize Stephanie Jane Hahn as my attorney in a very difficult case and at one of the most critical times in my life. "SJ" was incredibly helpful and understanding in regards to my lack of knowledge of employment law and what to do next. She walked me through each step of the way. I loved how she cut to the chase and was so clear and concise when explaining things to me. She cared for my situation and definitely had my back, while not coddling me. I didn't need her to be my therapist, I needed her to be my bulldog and she was just that. She fights for her clients 100%. Without getting into too many details about my case, I am extremely happy with the outcome and wouldn't have taken the option I did without Stephanie's direction and advice. My outcome did not necessarily serve her needs, she could have dragged it out easily to get more money out of me - but instead chose to be incredibly open and honest and put my family and my needs first.

Ms. Hahn has spent over two years representing me and working through an EEOC complaint, discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation case. The initial consultation was over an hour long as she explained in detail the legal process and the facts of my complaint. She will thoroughly explain her fee structure, which I found to be fair to both of us, the law, and will give you a very good idea of what to expect. I could easily say ditto on all the comments already posted but I will add that Hahn charged me $7500.00 UP FRONT to take my case (couldn't wait..time was of the essence!!)and once paid, I do believe she worked for the other team. My case wasn't even discussed and I had TONS of documentation and letters to prove my case. She didn't even want to hear it and was irate when I didn't accept their first piddly offer. After 20 years of exceptional work, I expected and deserved more than that. I at least deserved to be heard. NEVER, EVER pay BEFORE services are rendered!!! She may not take your case if you don't but trust me, you are better off if she doesn't. Read all these reviews. They all happened to me too. I filed with the board against her and was told that although she may be a lousy lawyer, she did nothing illegal. With my ONE experience with a lawyer, I will never trust one again!

I hired this attorney from the recommendation from an attorney I have had for years. I have been waiting for over a year to get this case done she has only met with me twice, the first time was a $500 consultation then the second was to get the $5000 retainer to work my case. She has NEVER returned any of my calls and has sent me two letters and has been untruthful to me in them, as I just found out she never meet for a follow up with the EEOC on my case so they closed it but gave me right to sue. She said her meeting was next week and I have been calling every day since I received my letter from the EEOC and she has not returned any of my calls. I have 90 days to file something and she has left me high and dry! I will file a complaint on her with the board because she scammed the wrong person this time! I have sent her a certified letter letting her know I no longer wish to have her as council and request a summery of my bill and refund!

made an appointment. decided to talk to the EEOC first. Call to cancel and was threatened by a member of the team. She said "If you go to the EEOC first, we will charge you a lot more money for your appointment". This attorney already charges $525 verses the $175 of other attorney's. I would say there is an integrity issue.

I do not recommend her at all! She wasted my time and money. She offered a free consultation and sold me! She was very easy to get a hold of until I paid her, then I think she fell off the face of the earth. After she received my FULL payment of $5,000 I never spoke to her again. I called her office multiple times after not receiving any kind of update, only to get a LETTER in the mail from her > 3 months later (after I left her several voice messages requesting an update on the case). The letter was rude and unprofessional, basically said that I was bothering her and she would contact me when it was convenient for her, but I hired her and paid her to work for me, so I thought?? I fully believe that she never attempted to work on my case, but rather took my money and walked. She was a scam and took complete advantage of me. Justice has still not been served in my case because I couldn't afford to pay anymore money to another lawyer. Please save yourself and find a better attorney!
