James Steven Sharp is a high paid legal thief. He has a license to steal supported by the system. An absolute NIGHTMARE. Stay away from this man. You will pay a fortune and receive nothing. ($500-$600 per hour rate) His talk is big but his results, forget it. Throw your cash in a warm fireplace, you will get the same results.

I went through a nightmare with my ex husband. Found Steve and he was wonderful. He is stern but knows his stuff and helped me end this ordeal!!! I would highly recommend him as he will give it all!

RIP OFF ALERT! Steve Sharp is a charmer to get your retainer money upfront. He does nothing for you afterwards. He does not return phone calls. At mediation, I worked harder on a resolution. He just went through the motions, if that!!! Horrible.

I had a pretty good experience with Steve. I would recommend him. I think he did the best he could for me and my sons. Court is not fair, you are at the mercy of the mood of your judge. After ten years of being drug in and out of court, just because you are right does not mean you are going to win. I won some - I lost some. The important thing is Steve won the ones that were most important to me. My children are my life. We finally have peace.

This attorney is the worst! Do not, do not, do not let him take your money. He will not give any advice, return any calls, prepare for your case or help with anything! He is overpriced and will comply with everything the opposite attorney suggests and do nothing for you.

I must agree with the majority. I don't need to say anything more. My Ex attorney Sam English who I think is arrogant and a compete ass took us down hard. It was embarrassing, humiliating and overall a bad experience.

I do not know why so many people are people him down. Yes he does not return calls very often but why don't you try being as busy as he is and see if you return all the calls you get. In my situation he helped me out and we won my case, I could not have asked for a better person.

I hired Steve Sharp after a Bad experience with another Attorny. I was in a very bad situation with a Ex wife. Steve really handled the court process with relative ease. Know I am the primary care provider for my child. And thats exactely what I wanted. If you want to Hire a very busy lawyer that is well known and does a very good jog. Hire Steve Sharp.

steve Sharp is a great lawyer, I've been with him on 4 occasions, and each on a success. I'm currently in the middle of a case right now and he is proving so far to be doing his job. And idk about you ppl n money but he's a lawyer and That's how the system works the more money you pay the more attention you get. But. I will say that he was the cheapest lawyer I could find, I guess all you other's that are complaining maybe you should just go to law school your self; then try and pay off ur student loans by not charging
much. Also, all you haters should just stay out of trouble!

Worst experience with any attorney I've ever had. All Sharp seemed to care about was copping a plea and getting paid--even if the plea was totally against our son's best interests.

Most of the reviews listed here are exactly correct: Steve Sharp likes to get paid, but does nothing for his clients. He refuses to return phone calls, emails or letters and didn't even bother to show up for Court. Sad situation - Potential clients- BEWARE!! I do not recommend this attorney at all.

Sorry excuse with the word "Attorney" attached to his name. He does nothing for his client. His clients have to take whatever is dished out to them because he apparently is a follower and not a leader and is easily swayed but other people's guidance and directions. We as a family put all of our trust and respect in a man that we thought could represent his client in a loyal and honest fashion but all he wanted was "money" at someone else's expense.Please do not hire this man for any reason.You will truly be sorry.

He is a JOKE!!! The day I met him he said that he "was the man for the job." However, he did absolutely nothing!!! I don't understand how he can say one thing and then do another. How can someone take advantage of people in their time of crisis and still sleep at night? If you are looking for someone who has their clients best interest in mind... find someone else. If you are looking for someone who just takes your money and does nothing that he said he was going to do... Steve is the man for the job. I guess it would be one thing if the outcome isn't exactly as you had hoped if he had been honest about it from the beginning. Not just feeding you a line just so you will hire him. The sad thing is, so called Lawyers know that once they have your money, that 9 times out of 10, you can't afford to hire someone else. It's like you are stuck with them no matter what. AND, Don't expect him or his staff to return your phone calls unless of course he wants something from you.

Horrible. I mean, horrible. Took my money and pretty much said it was a open and shut case, he was so determined that my x-husband was not going to show that when he did, Steve was completely unprepared. Even the judge asked him if he knew why he was there! His ego makes him talk big, but believe me - if you actually want your case worked on, find someone else!
