He exceeded my retainer and the expected client-attorney bond of trust by 400%+ in a single substandard filling of a Reply, that has seen been peer-reviewed unfavorably. This was an egregious failure of his fiduciary and ethical responsibility. He recklessly burned through the retainer, then billed tens of thousands of dollars of additional work w/o proper notification.
He continued to target me with unethical billing practices; billing me for hours to discuss the billing issues, and failed to honor multiple promises he made in in writing to provide statement credits.
Most damaging to my case was his premature withdrawal at the most critical juncture, only 18 days before oral arguments for the MSJ. This was an existential event that ultimately led to greater loss and consequences beyond my original claims, additional attorneys fees, award of fees, etc.
