I completely agree with the other reviews. The worst nightmare ever! I hired him to prepare title for a new house. I requested him to forward me copy of the documents and was ignored. I have no idea if he did any work. He was impossible to get hold of, his assistant had absolutely the worst phone manner I ever heard. I never knew what was actually going on with the status of his work. He strangely was NEVER in his office. To make the long story short, not much work was done, and I was sued by him to pay for his non-service. He didn't have much ground so initially it ended up in our favor in court. He tried to lie that he did the work but the letter he brought was actually the evidence that he didn't do the work. What a lawyer! Then, he somehow got judgement to pay him in ridiculous amount. I was not even served to appear in court and no explanation was given. He will suck every single penny out of you. Avoid him at all cost!!

I paid Sangwon Sohn $3000 to collect some debt that I was never paid. He promised he would get my money back for me because he knew those people who scammed me. After Sangwon took my money, he never updated me, or returned my phone calls. He keeps his door at 2701 Lemoine Ave Suite 301 locked all the time and only views people through his outside camera. He doesn't show up to appointments and scams people! Beware of him, and if you are one of the people scammed by him, report him to the NJ and NY bar associations! I am shocked people like him exist! He deserves to rot in jail next to Bernie Madoff.

Completely agree with the previous reviewer. This lawyer gives other lawyers a bad name. I had the urge to search him on google after he demanded money and did not do his job. I tried to call him but is never available. On top of that, his current assistant is horrible with phone manners. Very upset. He is a sham. Pass the word around.

He is the absolute worst lawyer ever!! Do not hire this man. He doesnt do anything for his clients. On top of that,their are even bad rumors going on about how he asks for money upfront and doesnt even do his job. Doesn't return phone calls, almost impossible to meet up with, constantly makes excuses and doesnt even do his job. I dont understand how people like him dont get stripped of their lawyer license.Their is no one available in his office unless he's expecting someone so its impossible to see him or even his assistant. My family payed a lot of money to take care of our foreclosure and bankruptcy problem, yet all he did was make matters worse. Very unprofessional, and a total useless lawyer. Were going to hire another lawyer that hopefully will get the job done! Our family is in a difficult period and it really pisses me off to meet bad people like this who takes our money and doesnt do anything. He's like a bloodsucker feeding off innocent,by taking there money & not working!!
