Rachel Kaplan is the kind of lawyer you don't want to hire. I used her for my divorce litigation. She made a simple divorce turn into a 5 year + nightmare. She does not answer emails or phone calls. She does not follow up on important matters. She has cost me dearly, financially, emotionally, and health wise. She has a bad attitude. She has always worked against me creating more problems. She should be disbarred. Please do not use her, she's useless and is an embaressment to her profession.

In 2008 we used Rachel Kaplan for the purchase of a new home. She made a mistake during our closing that cost us a significant amount of money. We agreed to work out the mistake so that we could get a refund. I have been calling her monthly to obtain a resolution and she keeps putting me off. In the Fall of 2010, she began ignoring my phone calls and messages. In early 2011 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) regarding the matter. I would not recommend her due to the way we were treated.
