Contracted this lawyer back in 2006 and he passed my case off to one of his junior associates. The associate turned out to be a completely incompetent: would not return phone calls/emails/ or have any timely communication. Mr. Hood didn’t even acknowledge my existence, despite showing up on the billing as the lead attorney. If I had wanted some 3rd string lackey to handle my case, I’d have hired one. I went to Mr. Hood b/c he had a great reputation – too bad I can’t concur. My advice: hire a firm with senior counsel that doesn’t treat you like you don’t have a pot to piss in.
