Mr. Zurz called me personally for consultation and I decided to speak with his attorney, Sean Buchanon (claiming to be the only real litigator at the firm). Sean indicated I had a case in which he could litigate and win for $100k. The day of the trial, I realized we never strategized prior to this day, he never asked for income verification, never discussed with the court how painful it was, never showed a single bill to the court. It was a simple case that was easily won but because "WE" did not demonstrate to the court any pain and suffering or out of pocket expenses the jury quickly rendered a verdict in our favor but without any idea on how much they determined on their own I should receive $5K not the $100K he thought I would get. I then expressed my disappointment with Sean so he decided to pull out of the case and not even attempt to collect the $5,000.
Thank you Slater & Zurz. I am wondering if there is a malpractice suit here?
