Roosevelt Conyers scammed us, when we were most vulnerable. He told us he didn't need to appear with us for our bankruptcy hearing. We took a day from work to go to our hearing and the trustee wouldn't speak with us because our attorney wasn't present. I was never able to speak with Mr. Conyers after that. He didn't answer my calls, but at some point told his secretary to tell me he would be with us at the next hearing. I tried to call him the week prior to the second date, but his office phone was no longer in service! I left many frantic messages on his cell, to which he never responded. Of course, he did not show up and we were adjourned one last time, and told to hire a new lawyer. I had also paid him to handle our foreclosure, but he has run off with that money as well. I am pursuing formal complaints against him. DO NOT EMPLOY THIS PERSON! He is extremely charming and comforting to people when they are stressed and vulnerable, don't trust him!
