Hardworking and compassionate. Took excellent care of my mother's estate and was willing to meet evenings, weekends and out of town.

Was hired for uncontested dissolution of marriage. Said he would get the QDRO done within 30 days of the trial, setup Child Support through the state and would put together paperwork for the car title to be transferred into my name only. Trial went fine but it took 6 mths of follow-up before he sent me a draft of the Pension QDRO. I Approved and asked him to also send me the 401K QDRO. He would not return my phone calls or emails. My former spouse called the office (9 mths after the divorce) and Ed happened to answer the phone. He gave HIS WORD he would get the QDRO done within 30 days. This of course did not happen. I worked with MoDR to get the necassary paperwork for the car title and found I could file the paperwork for the Child Support myself. I finally had to go to another lawyer to get the QDROs completed. Hope he is able to do better at his role as city councilman....

Waited 6 months for Ed Ford to get me a court date in my probate case and he did nothing. Always had an excuse, so after 6 months I fired him and found another lawyer.

to close a probate should take a year and Ford has taken 2. Now that the judge has oked and put a deadline of May 12 to have completed it is May 22 today and he still has not completed. A Very slow non carrying attorney.
