This is truly the worst attorney i have ever dealt with. Treated my case as it was a joke. Didn’t even show up to a court appearance and judge got angry with him not showing. This attorney will take your money and then he can’t be bothered by you. Big mistake on my part hiring him. I needed to hire another attorney to continue my case.

Dan clearly has a passion for what he does which shows in his results. He's helped me many times with his reasonable price, his attention to detail, knowledge of the law from both perspectives which I might add is key in his line of work, and most importantly with respectable outcomes that my family, myself, and my employer can live with. Thanks to Dan my future is still in my hands. I would tell anyone I know that if they ever needed legal aid, this is the guy that you want in your corner! Thank you Dan for all you've done!!

We hired Daniel Belano last year. We had tried a few lawyers and we ended up using Dan because he had great edict and was empathic to our families needs. We felt we had nowhere to turn and he made us feel confident and secure that we would be ok....He was completely professional and reasonably priced. Daniel Belano helped us receive a great outcome and we are truly thankful for his service.

It took Dan Belano one day to have our school district rescind its determination of an ISS against my first grader---yes, first grader, for making a poor choice The best money I ever spent.

Mr. Belano helped me with my son's school issues. I had no idea what I was up against until I spoke to a few advocates. One advocate after another told told me I would need a lawyer. Multiple advocates recommended Mr. Belano. Well I can tell you I was totally impressed during our initial meeting. Mr. Belano was well versed in school law, how the system works, and what the school was trying to do. I hired him on the spot. I have to say it was the best money I ever spent. Mr. Belano was able to obtain a favorable outcome for my son which the school accepted as a fair deal. A huge problem was solved. There was no way I could have dealt with the issue on my own. It was great to have Mr. Belano representing my son. He is kind, compassionate, non-judgemental and very creative. He was so nice he answered a few legal questions that were not related to my son's school issue. I will definitely use him again.

Dan was disorganized and uninformed. He told me he could help with my case. He just took my money, and I did all of the work. Didn't know times, who we were meeting with, the facts of the case, etc. He was always rushing and putting off meetings - never actually listening to the facts of the case. No follow-up at all.

He is disorganized, lost paperwork and checks, forgot I paid him, and never gave a receipt/invoice. It took him 8 months to put in paperwork for an uncontested divorce. Communication dwindled down to almost nothing. I would not hire him again for anything, especially if you want it done quickly. Be careful what you sign and keep track of everything.

I really can't thank this man enough for the help he has offered me and my friends. I cant count the amount of times Dan has been there for me to help me get out of pretty sticky situations, the amount of respect this man has in and out of the courtroom is rediculous every judge greets this man with a welcoming gesture surely to ease anyone's mind, while they are up against things they don't want to be up against. I cannot recommend his services enough. Don't make the mistake of choosing someone else.

He fought tooth and nail to keep me out of jail. Went above and beyond any attorney i have ever known. He will defend to the death and honestly cares about every one of his clients. He tells u how it is and doesnt sugar coat anything. As long as he Is a lawyer, ill recommend only him! Call him today!

I have needed Dan to help me out on several occasions and could not be happier with the service he has provided me with. He was very knowledgeable and worked very hard on getting me the very best outcome for my situation. He was and still is very responsive and very approachable. I was very uncertain with how the legal system works as I had never been needed to know about it before. Dan met with me for breakfast the next day after i called him and explained to me how everything was going to work and said to me don't worry everything is going to be fine. The resolve Dan was able to get for my issue changed my life. I couldn't say I would be where I was today if it weren't for the hard work and dedication Dan had put in. I would absolutely recommend Dan for anyone in need of legal council on Long Island.

If it wasnt for dan i too would be in jail dan has gone out of his way for me several times he didnt have to take my case knowing how bad it was but he did and he did nothing but fight for me every time... He is very knowledgable and has a mutual respect with everyone in the courts. He is known well by so far both judges and prosecuters and has been able to get me out of several situations. I would definitly reccomend him to others and plan on using him in the future to represent me if needed!!!

I used dan on 2 of my cases both times he was very knowledgeable and efficient. He had me out of court in 15 minutes. Very satisfied with the results of both cases would definitely use dan as my lawyer again and i would recommend him to all my friends.

I would be in jail right now if it wasn't for Dan. He has been fighting for almost a year and has been back and forth between two courts getting things done. I know that he's looking out for me. I don't have to worry because I know he will always get things done!

I don't know why anyone would bad mouth or bash this lawyer first off, and second he's been very informative to me at all times. Not for nothing but he has other clients and can't always answer back right away, or he's in court! He also has children that require his attention too! It's not all about you, above said person! I'll gladly recommend Dan Belano to others.

It was no surprise reading the other review on here. Do NOT hire Dan Belano as your attorney. He cares more about angering the Court than helping his client. Gives no updates on your case and does not like to be bothered with any questions by phone, text or e mail. A horrible person as well as horrible lawyer.
