The absolute best. I had been trying to get custody of my children away from their drug infested environment in another state. I went through 4 differnet attornies before I got to Ms. Amonette with zero success and over a 100 thousand dollars. Within one month of hiring Ms. Amonette, I had a court date and eventual judgement. My children are with me because of Ms. Amonette. She was very respected by the courts and granted everything asked for. Just amazing.

Ms. Amonette was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I hired her for a child support matter and she seemed to be more concerned about getting paid for every minute she worked than on advancing my case. Her delay in filing an action cost me nine months of back child support. At one point in the case she left a hearing 15 minutes before my ex arrived (he was late.). Because she left, the judge reversed the decision and contnued the matter another 30 days. She did a nice job deposing my ex (I created all of the questions) but ultimately recommended that I accept a settlement that did not allow me to break-even after her fees. On several occasions I had to e-mail her to remind her what she promised to do by when. At one point I reached out to the attorney who recommended her to ask if she might be ill. My matter was NOT a priority for her; getting paid on time and in full was her biggest concern.
