I just went through a complicated divorce and I had the privilege of having Mark Alter navigate me through this process. He was phenomenal. He was compassionate and treated my case as if it was the only one had. He had alot to deal with when it came to my case but he was always calm cool and collected and always was reassuring. His staff is very professional and was in constant contact. They were always very accommodating and I never felt like I was bothering them. If you want him to line his pockets on your divorce, this is the man to go with. He will evaluate how much he can squeeze out and basically take the equity from your kids. Go with him if you like burning your family's savings. If you want to have some civility, find a person who specializes in divorce, not criminal.

One of my Favorite People on this Earth! My Attorney and Friend. I’m very lucky to have him in my life. He has helped with countless battles and also has help my family. I’m eternally great full. Unfortunately for me there have been several occasions where I was in need of a lawyer. Fortunately for me,I always had Mark Alter in my corner.I was in a car accident & he represented me for my injuries against the insurance co. Mr. Alter could not have made it easier for me. He walked me through every aspect of the case,always returned EVERY call & took the time to explain everything to me.When the insurance co. pushed hard, he pushed harder and got me the compensation I deserved. Later on he also represented me and a family member for criminal charges. As you can imagine it was a hard time in my life and he fought aggressively for us and did not give up until we received the best outcome possible.Walking into Court and seeing the respect that judges and other attorneys have for him was amazing and more than understandable. I could not be more thankful for everything he has done for me and my family. I literally recommend him to EVERYONE who asks if I know a lawyer & always will!

The legal system is complicated, arbitrary, and the fact that you may be completely innocent may not save you. Mark did an incredible job defending me in a complex situation. He got "ahead of the case" and aggressively protected and clearly established my innocence. I ended up completely satisfied and relieved. No one will protect you or your loved ones better than Mr. Alter.

while reading some of the negative comments regarding Mark Alter I was moved to share my experience with him. I was going through some very serious legal challenges affecting my life and liberty, both of which were saved by this lawyer He answered all of my phone calls, he's a true professional. He is very knowlegable and confident and well respected in the courts by the judges, DAs and court personel. Thanks to him my case was won and I was able to go on with my life.I have since recommended him to many family members and friends who all adore and also recommend him.He is a man of integrity and a true professional.I have learned that he is on the list of 2013 super lawyers. As to the negative comments they are untrue. One refers to his father, deceased nearly 40 years. His name was not Ben and he was a doctor not a lawyer.Clients are thankful to have this powerhouse on their side. If you have a serious problem, divorce, criminal or personal injury, you would be a fool to pass him up.

I was fortunate enough to discover Mr. Alter while I was in the middle of a bitter and grueling divorce that was going nowhere. He will ask you to pay cash, hit you up with outrageous bills, and then basically get laughed at if you hire him for any family matter. Way over his head in any family or matrimonial case.
