Because she was a novice and cared more about appearances and stunts than reminding the jury of why they are there.She didn't listen to her client neither gave them the chance to get on the stand. Opening statement was you might not like me but please don't hold this against my client closing statement should have been to remind them of that because she knew her tactics were far fetched. Evidence that she should have fought to be presented she allowed to be surpressed.Evidence that would have proven doubt she didn't search out throughly.thinngs like pictures, telephone logs, other people being found with weapon and charged with it but yet someone else gets blamed for the murder. That was 1998 hopefully she has gotten better and more skillful
