Ellen Krevsky, an estate planning attorney in Cranford, N.J., is someone you should hire if you want to break up your family. She became involved in an estate planning situation where she went along with not only leaving a family member out of the Will, but also taught this family how to hide assets from the State of New Jersey, thereby putting them at risk. She told the Executor to “leave a little money in his parents’ names so it looks good, in case the State of New Jersey looks.”
Four other ethical estate planning attorneys have said they would run the other way in such a situation as it is not only a method that serves to hurt families, but it is also a way to bill clients over and over, which she did. There are many top, ethical lawyers that would never do something so risky and unethical.
