I must agree with all of the above. She is a horrid attorney. You are better off representing yourself. Check your bill CAREFULLY as she like to include stuff she didn't do. My case should never have made it past a preliminary hearing. I ended up having to go to court 4 times for nonsense that ultimately got dismissed. She keeps her practice because she is very politically connected.

AWFUL. I would have been better off to simply represent myself. She should have paid ME! Lazy, sloppy, very unprofessional in court. Her father handed his business down to her- along with the old man judge her mom dates. LOSER!!! DO NOT USE.

Where do I begin to list her incompetencies...She is jumpy, and she appears to be under the influence of cocaine, possibly crack. She moves her mouth from side to side rapidly, she's dumpy and unkempt in appearance and frequently had rapid speech. She would not be anywhere if not for her secretary. The only reason she has a job is that her father handed it down to her. She needs to become a housekeeper and stay out of peoples legal affairs. She really is crazy-do not hire her.

I am currently going thru a QDRO and needed a copy of my divorce decree. I called her office and asked for her. This is the horrible part. I knew it was her by her voice but she said that Wendy is not in the office. That was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. We will see if I get a copy of the paper I need.

Absolutely agree with the last review. We also were appointed Wendy Mongillo as a court appointed lawyer and had no choice but to use her services. If "services" is what you want to call it. She is not professional, not compassionate, lazy, incompetent and certainlt not what families need at these difficult times. She has no attention to detail, no follow through, and no communication skills. As the past person said the only thing she is good at is billing for her time (that she chooses when she has nothing else to do). Should the court appoint this morally destructive so called "lawywe" insist on someone else.

Attorney Mongillo was assigned to my elderly Mother as a probate attorney. She was a huge disappointment and very undependable. She had to be repeatedly asked to followup on Mom's legal issues and was not at all attention to detail. Her approach was sloppy and incomplete. Except of course, when she billed my Mother top dollar for her incompetence. I would absolutely not recommend her for representation.
