PROS+ People around the courthouse seem to recognize him. He seemed to listen and understand. CONS- The main thing is that he was extremely unprepared for the divorce trial. He even seemed confused at times. At other times, he was very focused on procedure, to the annoyance of the judge. He grossly underestimated the opposing counsel during the consultation. I had to repeat critical information multiple times. He was keenly focused on payment rather than the quality of his work (he was fully paid for the work performed). Losing is not as bad if the lawyer advocates your position, but a lawyer would have to come prepared in order to do that.
