Daniel Barrera, the ONLY lawyer for The Barrera Law Firm, was of no value to us WHATSOEVER. My mother had gotten injured from an injury at work on her hand and and leg. When it came time for settlement, they gave us an offer of $10,000 to cover BOTH injuries. My mother can barley go up stairs and has carpal tunnel in both hands now. We did not see this as a legitimate offer and told the lawyer that we wanted to fight the case to the end. He kept insisting that we wouldn't get anything if we continued which I did not believe. He kept pushing us to take the money so he could have his quick share. We wanted to fight for medical compensation so that my mother could continue to see the doctor and a bit of money to cover attorney costs. Since we refused to accept the money he no longer wanted to represent us and sent a letter to the VA Compensation Commission saying it was do to "irreconcilable differences". POOR COMMUNICATION on his part and POOR LAWYER. AVOID at ALL COSTS! Y NO ES LATINO!
