If you're looking for a plea deal, "Chip" MIGHT be your man. However, if you want your day in court, hire someone else. We worked for 9 months with this guy, repeatedly telling him that we did not want "a deal". He apparently didn't believe us because he didn't even start scripting his trial notes or opening statement until the day the trial started! Then, despite being coached on a number of subtle but important scientific points, he completely blew 3 or 4 of the most important proofs of the case. Simply put, this is NOT the attorney you want representing you IN COURT. Further, he can be argumentative with clients; indeed, when polled by the judge after the trial the jury stated that they did not like "Chip" nor the way he presented our case. Our advice - find another lawyer.
