Working with Pletter was the worst experience that I have ever had. His work was of poor quality (made mistakes on paperwork submitted to the court), and he was constantly challenging our credibility. If only he had used that energy to make sure that his clients were satisfied with the outcome--resolution to their problem. Indeed, on many occassions I would observe that he would misinform me (told me that there will be an audit after the BK, he then reverses himself "I will be nothing more than a number" with implications of no audits. He even told me at one point that the trustees spent half a day discussing my case--half a day, the case was very straightforward--debts outweigh assets. He also told me that since the trustees did not have enough manpower, that he had to perform that function as well. We made a mistake in selecting him to represent us. The case never went to court. He should have refunded my money. Bottom line, I would not recommend him to anyone.
