The worst lawyer in the world actually. Not responsive, not knowledgeable at all. The judge had questioned him on representing 2 parties in a case and couldn’t respond. Do not go to him, he can’t answer questions or give any sort of guidance. Please do not go through him. He does not respond and not trustworthy

He is probably the best lawyer in Brampton area. He has handled all four of my cases dating back to 1998. He's super personable, knowledgeable and can get things done efficiently.

Mark Skursky came very highly recommended. When we first me about a year ago, I was skeptical at first (he was all business) and he quickly informed me he might not take my case, he would let me know at the end of the appointment. By the end, I knew I wanted to retain Mr. Skursky but there was still one problem if he agreed; I am in Superior Court and he does not litigate in SC. He took my case and I proceeded as a self represented litigant with Mr. Skursky's help every step of the way. This has saved me alot of money in legal fees and I have gained so much knowledge of family laws. Unfortunately it has also meant dealing with our antiquated court system. I agree with what retiring Ontario Superior Court Chief Justice Heather Smith recently said (Toronto Star June 24th), "It's like stepping back in time". Back to my lawyer; I COULD NOT HAVE FOUND A BETTER LAWYER TO ADVISE,GUIDE AND ASSIST ME THROUGH THE LEGALS PROCESSES IN MY DIVORCE WHICH WENT TO TRIAL IN MARCH AND IS STILL NOT OVER;

Legal aid better then him. Prolongs things and doesn't speak up on your behalf. Forgets the case at times.

Mr.Skursky is knowledgeable as well as highly respected, this is proven when you see him in court with his peers. I had the pleasure of obtaining his services for a family matter, to which he was responsible, communicative, and nothing but helpful. His focus never strayed away from what was right for my child. I would (and have) recommend this lawyer to anyone who asked for someone who practices family law. I was always able to contact him and acquire an appointment within 5 days of requesting to see him. Throughout my case I was presented with a sense of calm provided by Mr.Skursky. This man knows what he is doing, and that was reassuring to me.

Awful lawyer, took 10 years to get divorce rolling, paid him a retainer twice and he would not reply to e-mails, and did not conclude the case. Every time I had an appointment, he would talk about his scuba diving and gardening, ask the same questions over and over again and charged me 1 hr every time. After months and months of trying to get an answer from him, he jsut sent the remainder of the retainer left and ended the "contract" with me!Don't waste your money or time, go elsewhere!

This lawyer is very busy, so if you are able to get in with him consider yourself lucky. He knows family law and court proceedings very well and is well respected. He is really well organized and his court documents are always in excellent order, unlike many orther lawyers I have had to deal with. He will fight for you and take care of your problems to make a challenging time less stressful. He has the big picture in mind and will look for a settlement that people can live with and move on with life. This lawyer is excellent at negotiating and writing strong arguments. He listens well and his advice is valuable. But don't ever settle for something you cannot feel comfortable with. He will listen if you let him know what is most important. I highly recommend this lawyer to help you get your life in order and to a better place.

We retained Mr. Skursky from the referral of another client. As long as your willing to do your share (i.e. don't expect him to hold your hand) then you have yourself a great lawyer. He doesn't always answer emails but when you need him, he is there and gets the job done. We had a big issue arise and he was on top of it and got results. He showed up to court and did as we asked and worked well with the other lawyer to get the matter dealt with. We did not go to trial, so I cannot say how he does with that however we felt we had someone on our side and we had someone who was well respected. I like to know whats going on and I like to have paperwork done in my own way and he let me do it while editing to make sure it was worded properly and advising when things weren't going to fly. I highly recommend him.

He evades his responsibility to respond to emails. He never apprises me of deadlines and has never contacted me once to come into his office to prepare documents for upcoming matters. He is timid to make arguments in court and does not take the time to really know his client's file. I have observed that other lawyers are prepared and have pre drafted opening/closing submissions for court. He literally starts drafting his submissions while a matter is taking place. His arguments are always weak and supports that he did absolutely no prep work to understand the file. I would NEVER recommend him to anybody.He also has a very negative outlook on everything. It makes you wonder why you retained him to represent you. He also always seems to find ways to get out of work, leaving the burden on the client. This experience has been a utter nightmare. If you hire him, you might as well work for yourself--or accept poor representation.This is a true and honest opinion.
