U S Customs seized my money in excess of $10,000 because I did not report it to Customs. I checked the bar association website and there were no complaints against Peter Herrick. Mr Herrick's 10% contingent fee of the refund was reasonable and he obtained appx 90% of my money in a short period of time.

my company was considering Peter Herrick for a $200,000 liquidated damages claim against our company by Customs. However this website had 3 negative reviews about Mr Herrick. Mr Herrick advised these reviews were not truthful but to check with the local bar assn. to verify if any compliants against Mr Herrick. Their wesite had no compliants after 10 years. We hired Mr Herrick for a reasonable fee and within a short time the Customs claim was reduced to $700.

We hired Peter Herrick to take care of a customs review for us. He was not familiar with the customs laws and we ended doing all the work. He made up hours that he worked and over billed us. It turned out to be a nightmare working with him. Luckily, We ended up dealing with customs on our own. If we had followed his advice, we would have lost a ton of money. He is completely dishonest and unethical. We hope that no one else has to go through what we did. Do not hire him!!! We will be reporting him for billing us for hours that he did not work.

Kept full retainer of $2500 after working only 1 hour. Gave bad advise that could have cost me my business. Doesn't seem to work till after 3 pm and is very brief on the phone and emails. Just out to get your money. He doesn't care what happens to you. He is not a good person or a good lawyer. He will rip you off. Not only that, he did not know some basic terminology regarding importing.

Looking to hire a Looser? Here he is ! I hired him to solve import case with EPA. I did 300 hours of research work to set it up. All he had to do was get it to trial. Filed ridiculous motions running up a hefty monthly bill.I warned him about what i feared as the outcome, He told me "not to worry" that my product was safe and there was NO WAY IT COULD BE SOLD. well He was wrong it was auctioned, the funds were kept by US Customs ($210000 worth of product lost).He does not stay on track,his filings are a smoke & mirror act,Will not talk to you,runs his business via Email. Federal court threw my case out, And I almost lost my home, not to mention that after paying almost 30K to Peter Herrick all I get is a "SORRY" for your loss email.This guy is nothing short of a joke, Its a shame the FL Bar allows him to practice. Knowing what I know now, I would have been better served by a deaf/dumb Monk or a crack **** in court.You might as well throw your money in a wood chipper.
