Joy was my divorce attorney for over 10 years. She did a wonderful job and helped me through several very challenging periods. She knows the local court system extremely well and is very knowledgeable in family law matters. Joy was easy to work with and I would highly recommend her.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!...You hire an attorney & trust that person will have Your best interest at heart, Not this one. This woman is very inconsiderate & rude, complains & honestly doesn't seem to know what she's doing. NOT worth a single penny. Our new attorney was quite shocked at what a terrible job Ms. Carpenter had done & had Not done. Knowledge: knows how to file paperwork at the courthouse. Communication: Very inconsiderate & rude & would hang up in mid sentence. Tenacity: determined to get her money, & determined to screw you over in the process. Work Quality: Poor. Value: poor. STAY AWAY!!!
