Debra and her Husband helped me with my divorce and my domestic protection order. Just know if I had not listen to Debra and had representation for my domestic hearing I would of lost out, he came with a lawyer and I was not going to listen to Debra.

Mrs. Chafin and her office are amazing! She, her husband, and her office staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire process of my step-parent adoption and contempt hearing, with appeal. They were all readily available with answers to my many questions, no matter how late into the evening, as this was all unfamiliar to me. They were always professional and very knowledgeable, good at explaining in understandable terms. She knew the facts of my case like it was her own personal experience. She was invested in my case and getting the outcome my children deserved. She and her staff were successful and my children were adopted by my husband. She went above and beyond and I am forever grateful for her and her staff. I highly recommend her!

As a father fighting for my son's well-being, Debra helped me with a messy custody situation. Did a phenomenal job. ?? would recommend 100%. Came into the courtroom with a file as thick as 3 bibles. Laid out a case perfectly. She's a bulldog.

Debra and staff are great!! From initial meeting to the end, Debra has no nonsense approach that was just what I needed to get me through my divorce case. The entire staff, all of which I came to know by first name, were professional and compassionate with a day to day consistency that is simply not found much in todays business climate. Debra Chafin is the most knowledgeable, caring and respectful lawyer that I have ever seen. She was so compassionate and caring with my elderly mother as she went through a divorce after being married for 53 years. She really knew what my mother was entitled to and got my mom things that we never even thought about. Debra has a wonderful support staff in her office. Danielle was the greatest she always was so nice and always had a smile that made us feel welcomed and that we were not just another client. Debra was so great with my mom and was always able to reassure her that everything was fine and that she was going to get through the divorce just fine. I can say that our experience there was as about as perfect as it could be. Debra was a class act and was so professional in all that she did for my mom. used Debra for a child custody case. I thought she was very professional, honest, and knowledgeable. she does not tell you what you want to hear but tells you the truth based on the facts. she was very aggressive in court and with the other attorney. I would recommend her to anyone.

Handled a child custody case, was afraid to speak up for us in front of judge and seemed more concerned about offending her fellow attorneys representing the other side. Charged for every email, every phone call, even every fax she sent out. Very condescending and irate when we asked her and she failed to speak up for us many times in court. She's really a tax attorney and has no business representing child custody cases.

Debra took over our custody case from another attorney. At the time we first met with her, we were upset and confused. Her demeanor put us much more at ease. She exhibited good knowledge of the court system and the law. She followed through with her promises and was good to work with. As with anything family court, there were compromises, but she made sure she protected the child. I would recommend her to anyone with a family court case.

Debra and her staff understood my priorities and the unique circumstances around my divorce. I felt like she had my best interest at all times and was very knowledgeable.
