Not recommended. During Mediation, we discussed very specific things, only to have something different drawn up in the paperwork. The result is that we have had to sort out the mediation document with our attorneys afterwards, costing for money. It would have been better if we had no mediator at all.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms Virginia Henley Gatz, Esq., during the summer of 2015 as she represented me in post divorce child support negotiations. Divorce processes are difficult, and the subsequent negotiations around parenting and child support are laden with a lifetime of baggage while accompanied by an emotional roller coaster. Virginia was ever the consummate professional and advocate. She remained grounded when I wasn’t and provided honest, clear and concise council. One of the things I most appreciated was her frank assessment of the process, and sharing of her indignation when the opposing side became out of line.
My previous counsel did not serve me well and I wish I had hired Ms Henley Gatz at the start. The level of service, responsiveness, direction and advocacy provided by Virginia was stellar. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of strong representation.

Divorce and Custody matters can be very stressful to deal with. I have worked with Virginia on several different matters over the last few years and I can honestly say without her diligence and guidance through the process I would not have been able to withstand it. She cared about me as a client and treated the issues I faced like they were her own. I felt confident going into any legal matter knowing she was in my corner.

She was very helpful. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about what was happening. She really impressed me! I was in the middle of a difficult child support arrangement and she really made me feel like she was our advocate.
