As a parenting coordinator, he was completely ineffective. He charges a huge amount on an hourly basis, and is overly preoccupied with process & procedure. His communication is poor and he makes you feel like you're his last priority as he is very busy with other stuff that causes him to forget your important issues. Decisions are difficult to reach and his impact is low.

The previous reviews of Mr. Melamed are consistent with what I experienced as well. Save your money and represent yourself! Give that money to your children and not lawyers that see you as an invoice.

DannyS. Melamed uses his position as a "family lawyer" to file baseless motions and fuel the conflicts between families only to make money without any regards for how his actions is hurting the children whose best interest he is supposed to protect as a agent of the court. Danny Melamed should be disbarred and investigated for fraud.

Stay away from Daniel Malamed. He will bill you for hours on end as he has no intention of settling or closing your file. He will drag your case on to the point that you feel you are helpless and stuck with him. I have been dealing with him for 3+ Years, im almost done with him now however; had I had known how unprofessional and condescending he was I would have NEVER started using him to represent me. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Stay away at all costs. He is pleasant to talk to however he only cares about how much he will bill your file. He can cause you a fortune for basically nothing. I had to fire him after 3 years and 250k in legal fees for basically no action not even a single court order to save any issue. He and his associates generate huge paperwork but not once they will DO anything, stay away from him or anyone in his firm if you want your life back.

My Ex's Lawyer. Does not respond to letters or requests for mediation arbitration. He makes endless document requests with no clear desire to resolve issues. If you hire this guy be prepared for a long expensive process. If you are up against him do yourself a favour represent yourself to deal with his nonsense requests that he does not even read or review. Stay away if at all possible.

Mr. Melamed cannot go the cambit with opposing counsel. He prefers to be pleasant, cordial even the opposing counsel is a barracuda and eats nice lawyers for breakfast. He stalled in completing repeated requests made by me and now it will be extremely difficult to accomplish the necessary actions prior to trial as the opposing counsel has consumed all available time with his own Motions, Appeal etc. Mr. Melamed is no longer my representative....as I previously stated, I need a barracuda for the on-coming barracuda.
