This lawyer is terrible. No communication skills, does not have email, does not even have support staff. He wanted me to type up the legal document I needed. Asked me for a retainer the next day asked me for the full amount and he never did a thing. Could not get ahold of him by phone and his office was locked for 2 days. He never even returned my banks calls. DON'T HIRE THIS LAWYER

Although I did not personally meet him, (and hopefully I never will!) I have had to be involved with this man's shady practices since my partner and his soon-to-be-ex-wife have tried to resolve their divorce. This lawyer is nothing short of a thief. He takes as much money as he can from clients and pushes every case he can to court (ask around about him at other law firms, they have all heard of him). Unbelievably, he even admitted to my partner's lawyer that he let the to-be-ex-wife write her OWN letters, regardless of if there was any truth in them or not (there wasn't) and regardless of the lack of correct legal termination (she's not a lawyer!) AND then he rubber stamped them and faxed them off to opposing council! How unprofessional is that? This divorce case should have been resolved quickly and painlessly, it's now been almost a year and upwards of $40k each and it's STILL not resolved. It will end up in court and he won't have a leg to stand on. Avoid him at all costs.

This guy is pompous and rude. He took all of the retainer and didn't get any results likely because of his attitude. Stay away, save yourself.

This lawyer charged 1600 dollars for a four day trial. At 400 dollars an hour, that is 4 ten hour days. The trial took half a day, all that remained was the written judgment to be typed up and filed. He has subsequently charged us a further 3200 dollars and has not done the job. He did hire a researcher for a couple hundred dollars to check one thing before we filed, and I assume he spent a couple of hours reading the research. Other than that, after almost two years since the hearing, there is still no divorce. And, potentially another legal bill coming, Who knows with this guy. I don't know what he could still charge us for, we have paid him ten times over to file the divorce. I can't even give him a rating of "one". He's just slippery. Stalling and rewording what you say and manipulating you to change your mind.

This guy is corrupt everybody. He will steal every penny you have. He writes his own affidavits and ignores what you really tell him and then the other side is upset and so it starts and the money just bleeds away until there is nothing. This guy should be stripped of his license to practice law. Avoid at all costs!!

This (lawyer) is totally unstable, he is not well versed with the law, and uses intimidation and stall tactics to bleed clients dry!!!! He should be avoided at all costs!!!

Mr. Lipkowski's major problem was that he refused to believe the information that I was providing him. Because I was a 'woman' I didn't really know what I was talking about. He did respond quickly to opposing counsel and appeared to be ready to play on the same field as the opposing counsel. I was not with him long enough to find out more....I fired him as he refused to put any merit to what I was giving him by way of information which was crucial to my litigation. I had also requested several times for a valuator of property and was told 'no'. Not happy with a lawyer that is suposed to have my best interest at heart...he was gone.
