In the Rules of Professional Conduct, it says: The lawyer should also consult with the client and seek a mutually acceptable resolution of the disagreement. Doug does very little consulting. He bosses. He has little recognition that clients are experts in their circumstances and goals. As I would try to get him to consider something, he would quickly dismiss it with something like, “end of story.” He is constantly reminding you how he is the expert, yet he was losing about half my hearings even though I have a good case. He would regularly threaten withdrawing by saying things like, “If you don’t agree, I’ll withdraw." Doug and his firm were slow at responding to questions and moving the case forward. As he dismissed himself from the case to the judge, he stabbed me in the back by telling the judge I swore at him and threatened him. Doug has a big ego, he’s rigid, unprofessional, will run up your bill, and not that good at winning.

He is an absolutely terrible human actually he is not worthy of the term human. His is a disgusting piece of trash. A dotarded imbecile. An idiotic moron. There must not have been any competition in his law school.

Absolutely ridiculous person, even worse evil, vile attorney. The devil is waiting for his payment, Mr. Thayer. I know he will take it from you someday. On a side note, I love how Mr. Thayer conivingly joined a firm whose members eroneously vote for one another without knowing anything of each other so kudos on your fake award in that respect.

He was the opposing attorney in my case; I found he was ill-prepared and not nearly as smart as he think he is. He tries puerile tactics like intimidation. He did succeed in draining my bank account and only hurt the family. He lost every point.
