I had a very complicated divorce and child custody case. Attorney Godson's knowledge and credibility with the Court helped me succeed and helped me protect my children. Attorney Godson is honest and straightforward in his communication. He is very careful about spending your money and preserving your assets for your future. He has a tax attorney in the office to consult about tax issues related to assets, income and alimony. His staff is incredible. They are professional and personable. Attorney Godson's international custody experience was very helpful in my case. I highly recommend Attorney Godson.

Takes your retainer, forgets to send needed correspondence to opposing councel, double sends mailings to client. Does not keep client involved or informed. Also takes the finacials of the other side to be the truth without confirming it with pertinent discovery and will make the deal for his clinet the wasy HE sees fit. I wondered whose side he was on. Not a good way to feel about the "professional" who has your life in his hands.Despeite his high rank of President of the Middlesex Bar Association, I expected better representation and did not find it. Was condescending and difficult to communicate with. Many times at the start of a call to him, I was told to hold on that he was right there only to then be told he had/was just stepped out. Given that it is your future at stake in a divorce, I would strongly suggest to avoid this person and seek a more reliable representative with your future.You will be doing yourself a large favor by staying away from this one.
