Was not impressed - hurried you through the offers and didn't let you really think about what she was saying. Spoke very fast trying to get it settled even though it was clearly unfair and unrealistic. She talked over us and did not listen when we would talk .... Disappointed even though we stood our ground

I'm an attorney and use Ms. Armstrong frequently. She is fast. That saves clients money. She has a good feel for what the courts are likely to do. That saves clients money. She doesn't spend a lot of time being all touchy feely. That saves clients money. I think she gets the job done and gets it done at very reasonable rates. The participants must come prepared, however. Otherwise, they will regret any settlement and will blame the mediator or one or both of the lawyers.

Ms.Armstrong was a mediator in my divorce matter. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an unbiased, third-party opinion, who will make sure all parties walk away feeling as if they received a fair deal, but also truly heard. She cared and that was refreshing and comforting.

Although I won my case, and left with a decent settlement. I found her disposition to be condescending, authoritarian, and borderline insulting. She is definitely a high pressure mediator.
She talks fast, flies through legal terminology, and tries to get you to give ground where you absolutely shouldn't, all in order to get a settlement quickly. No doubt so she can move onto to the next case to collect another several hundred dollars from someone else. I would definitely NOT recommend the services of this mediator. Ask your attorney to find someone who has a better record and reputation for being professional, equitable, and respectful. I certainly found those fundamental qualities to be lacking in my experience with her.

DO NOT TRUST OR USE THIS LADY WHO WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE, AS A FELLOW MOTHER. PLEASE DON'T!!! I wanted 50/50 custody and no child support, but I was court ordered to see a mediator first. We let my ex's lawyer pick the mediator. She told me I was getting 14.5 days a month which would work with my ex's schedule and mine. I asked her over and over again if the math was correct. She basically pressured me into signing a document that I later found out equalled 12.5 days a month. She charged me $350 for a 1/2 day and as I was walking out, handed me a bill for an additional $225. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND REQUSEST ANOTHER MEDIATOR WHO DOESN'T LIE TO YOUR FACE AND PRESSURE YOU.

She dangerously misrepresented my three daughters as an ad litem. Even after my girls documented everything they confessed to her concerning their father she refused to communicate their truth and desires to the judge, as well as ignoring their request to be able to speak directly to the judge. Do Not accept her as an appointed ad litem to your case. You will pay financially and emotionally and so will your children.

Seemed to be on board initially, but completely dropped the ball when it came time to perform. Sloppy paperwork, poor communication, & lack of interest.......then she just QUIT, leaving me in a position of terrible disadvantage simply due to her IMCOMPETENCE.
