This sad excuse for a lawyer failed to intervene in the worst miscarriage of justice in PA history. She not only allowed the cash for kids scandal to unfold under her watch, but she actually defended the practice of denying legal counsel for children, summarily detaining kids for minor offenses and opposed the expunging the records of the victims of her incompetence. She further failed to investigate her uncle for corruption and allowed the nephew of a local crime boss to basically go free after committing a felony while on prison work release. The nepotism (the attorney responsible for allowing the crime boss nephew off the hook is the daughter of the corrupt "kids for cash" Judge) in her realm trumps any pretense of justice. She should be held for disciplinary action for ignoring the injustice that occurred during her entire tenure as DA, but in typical Luzerne County fashion she will be re-elected unopposed. Musto Carrol is both uncaring & incompetent & should forfeit her office.
