My experience with Mr. Laiche can be described as “better than good”. Not perfect, but a better outcome than I expected. Mr. Laiche’s legal skills, combined with his knowledge of what the district attorney’s office was planning and his negotiation skills, came to a great result. I question the writer who commented, “...seems to work more for the district attorney than the people paying him. He has no ethics and cares only for his pocket book and the DA”. It is because of Mr. Laiche’s professional and professional association with DAs, that they are willing to take time to listen to him. And to the writer that said that he paid Mr. Laiche over $10K and got a bad result? Maybe it’s your own track record (He defended me in a couple cases...) That was your problem, and not Mr. Laiche’s ability. Also, kudos to Mr. Laiche’s investigator, without whose assistance, my outcome would not be as good as it was.

Stephen L. laiche seems to work more for the district attorney than the people paying him. He has no ethics and cares only for his pocket book and the D.A. Better off defending yourself than hiring Stephen L. Laiche. That is my oppinion.

I'm not a fan of talking behind someone's back but I want to bring light about what kind of person Steve Leiche is, that is if you want to call him a person. I paid him over $10k and he did nothing for me. He defended me in a couple cases and promised me freedom if I waved my prelim and I did then I ended up going to prison 2 months later. He wouldn't let my family in the courtroom. He told them to wait in the hallway. His kids must be embarrassed to have a dad like him with no morals or keep his word. With him you have to fight him and the prosecution. They're on the same team. A public defender is better than him. If I could give him a rating of -10 that's what he would get.

I had a bad case i was facing 32 years because of Mr. Laiche I am out now I am so glad i Got him someone in county told me get him he is a really good lawyer i was afraid that he was not going to be a good lawyer but nooo! he is the BESTTT! LAWYER And i mean it he got me out with probation and im not even form grand junction i got caught in Grand Juction and they let me go to my state which is 10 hours away from Grand Juction i still have to go back for my sentenced they gave me 3 months out and Im just going back to get sentenced and they are trusting on me to go back they let me go out without no co-signer only my own self, and like the first comment he was with me like that too over the top he makes you feel comfortable and he cares a lot and fast I got a response each time. I still hadn't paid him when he was already visiting me in jail without him knowing i was going to hire him or not .Since day one he did everything so quick my bond was 75,000 he reduced to 48,000 right away f

I found Mr. Laiche through a referal on the internet. Unfortunately, I didn't find him sooner. I sent him emails and made phone calls and couldn't beleive how fast I got a response each time. I never paid this man a dime and he went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. There were two meetings in his office and each time , I felt that he actually cared and never was there any pressure to pay or leave. I believe he is a man of integrity and would recommend him without hesitation.

he never returned my calls, he called me a liar in front of prosecuting d.a., he would not speak up for me to the judge and did not allow me to say anything for myself, he tried to coerce me to testify against the co defendant in my case even though i told him we were both innocent so in my opinion he was asking me to lie under oath. he was rude and i believe he was talking to my ex (the one who filed false charges) and seemed to be buddies with him, actually believing his lies that i cheated on him and had him beat up. i thought your lawyer was supposed to stick up for you and look out for your best interest but Laiche seemed to be more interested in being buddies with the prosecutor and not too concerned about the kind of representation i deserved. because of him i got another charge and nearly lost my girls. the public defender for my co defendant did a much better job and treated us with respect that i never got from Laiche. I would not let this **** defend my dog. minus 100
