Sherri is by far the WORST GAL I have ever encountered. She ignored FACTS and has put my child and my family in danger and in an comfortable situation. I say pray and take your family’s life into your own hands. Follow the law but recognize when you are being misrepresented and underserved! Justice was not served in my case and I have proof - take legal recourse if necessary I know I will! My opinion ask for another or no GAL at all, no one cares about your life and family more than you.

Thanks to her after she recommended my granddaughter be given to the father who snowballed her into believing he was the greatest thing on earth the grandparents,the mother,or her brother and sister have not been able to see her or talk to her for over 3 years now. Thats one hell of a judicial system Chesterfield co.has mrs gill if you happen to see AML tell her we love her.......

Sherry is one of the worst humans I have ever been forced to be around this women was appointed as my “guardian as litem” & ALL I can say is she never looked at my best interest and did nothing to help me as a GAL should and I really hope for others just stay away from this women she will destroy you and your life

This lady is an absolute horrible person. She is a liar and manipulative. She has made some VERY bad choices in her career and she should not have this career! She ruins lives and if you are an attractive female, she will make it her agenda to ruin yours even if the person on the other side of the case is an evil piece of trash. She hates women because she is insecure. She dresses inappropriately but is quick to judge you and even finds a derogatory way of telling the judge that you have a big house. Um, since when is that a bad thing? She should have no say in a child or adults life. One day she will have to answer for all the families and children she has hurt. It is a shame she has not been disbarred yet.

Sherry Gill is a sorry excuse for a human being. She wants to tear families apart. She picks a side and bashes the other without thinking twice. She does not have the childrens best interest at heart. There is no reason this woman should still have a job as a GAL.

Good luck EVER getting Sherry to return your calls. As a GAL, good luck opposing her opinion. She will do WHAT EVER it takes to get her point across whether is true or not. I'm not sure why the Bar allows her to keep her Bar Card. Probably one of the most unprofessional lawyers I've been around.

sherry will pick a side to be on and make them look like an angel to the court but knowing the whole time they are evil. she will trash the other side to a point that the judges only see her view.I also believe see will coach the side she like as to what to say in court even though that is not what she is suppose to do.she is not their for the goodness of the child but only for herself and the people she likes.

Mrs Gill once appealed a case against me. My lawyer was penalized for tardy paperwork and was not allowed to speak during the trial. She could only submit paperwork. Sherry still lost the case. You should hire Mrs Gill. She's brilliant.

Sherry Gill should never be a GAL!!! I have had the unpleasant experience to have had her as my sons GAL for 21 months now and during that time she has befriended my X Sandy L. Groff an gone out of her way to lie and hide from the facts and the truth. Ms. Gill has not once come to my home for a custodial visit but has gone to my X's parents home numerous times! Gill has lied about medical records as well as covered for my X when it was revealed that her home was trashed and filthy only to say that upon the deaths some 4 months prior of her parents the home is nasty due to packing which apparently takes 4 months plus!? As a GAL Ms. Gill simply avoids doing her job and never cares about the health and safety of the child only that of doing as little work as possible! The only reason this lady has a job is because her daddy was (now retired) a powerful judge in the circuit court of Chesterfield County and the city of Colonial Heights Virginia!

Under no circumstances should you allow this person to act as a GAL for your children!! If I could give a zero I would. This person cares nothing about her "clients" that she does not even know their names. She does not return calls, does not reply to emails. She does not address concerns or issues. She does nothing until days before court where she only asks the judge to give order for money and gossips. She only meets with her "clients" for a few minutes days before court to check boxes to pretend she is doing her job, but she is not. Money is her only concern. She is lazy and falls back on constructing and perpetuating societal false narratives. She does nothing when issues arise. If a parent unilaterally fires the kids counselor because they called them out in court. Sherry does nothing. Coparenting is sabotaged by a parent Sherry does nothing. Sherry does not met with the parents, knows nothing about the kids. This person cares only about money. No oversight, no action. Disbar her

What a power trip this little" Wanna be princess is on". Too bad this job is not decided on merit but rather who we or Daddy knows. Never in all my years have I seen such blatant disregard for others.The only word that comes to mind to describe this person is NARCISSISM. There should be an immediately investigation of her recommendations and she should have to defend her actions in the courtroom. When the truth comes out about her I suspect there will be civil actions against her. Then maybe she will understand how it feels to have a stranger dictate your life.

What a wonderful attorney that puts the child first. I feel many of the reviews are based on emotion on this site. Ms. Gill's is very process driven and her communication with follow up was outstanding. Family law is very hard, but at the end, Ms Gill did what was best for the child in our case.

Sherry's agenda in my case was to definitely show as much booty as possible. She took herself very seriously and the job, not so much. No follow up what so ever. And Sherry lies. She told a judge to contradict me, that Farnham Rd did not exist in Chesterfield county or anywhere else in the Metro. He believe her. She said she'd researched it. I personally think her and the judge were an item. And Sherry didn't give you reason to think less. So professional. Does not do what she says. Last minute everything if at all.

I've heard derogatory comments from other lawyers that pretty much guess Gill's agenda and find it petty. Sherry is out to cause as much trouble as possible which makes others resent her presence as much as I do. She's good at talking judges into giving the parents hell. But let a lawyer walk in and Sherry is sent to make coffee. And I totally agree that she doesn't return calls or follow up.

i not only feel mrs gill is a low quality lawyer but also a low quality person. and i also experienced no returned calls, no follow up, and sherry standing in the court room dressed like a teenager. i also wonder if the person below is sherry's sister or sherry herself. mrs gill made some inappropriate phone calls she was asked to explain by another lawyer. mrs gill told him "her sister was with her when she made them" nice. sherry seems to want to compete with other women in the court room, especially ones with nice appearances. she once came up to me and told me "your wife walks like me". hello?

I am shocked by the bad reviews. I found Ms. Gill to be professional and exactly what she is supposed to be--a voice for a voiceless child. She was amazing. She got right to the heart of the problem, answered calls, stayed in touch. Someone on here said she dressed badly--are you kidding? What does it matter how she dresses, but in fact I found her to be quite professional in her dress. Personally I am ever so grateful that she was assigned to the case I was involved in. She's the best.

Complete piece of****. Very insolent and dresses like she's going to the skating rink. Tries to tell the judge her father is a judge. Which he is. Then flirts with the judge. Her main sqeueze is Judge Valentine Southahll. Sherry love dat ****. She's on a big girl fantasy. Daddy oh yea.

This is THE WORST person you can have to represent your child! Never calls, doesn't do what she is supposed to do as far as home checks, or anything else. Does NOT return calls, had one person respond to a letter from her and left a message, didn't get a call back for over two months, so they called again leaving another message, still have not heard from her. Total of six months has gone by! How can she figure out the truth of things going on if she doesn't meet with both sides as well as the child involved. If she is appointed to your case, for your sanity and the safety of your child/children ask for someone else! Sherry is a poor example of an attorney/guardian.

What a poor excuse for a person to be appointed as a Guard Ad Litem. She has been on the case for too long and in the past year, she has called me once for a 5 minute conversation. How can you pick through the truth and what is bull if you don't talk to all the parties. Not to mention her voice mail message tells you if you leave a duplicate call your call back will be delayed. Come on, this is a our children who she is suppose to represent and if the parent has a concern, you would think it would be Sherry Gill's concern as well. She has too many cases to tend to and needs to let another attorney step in to do a thorough and proper job of the case. If the courts appoint her, you may want to ask for another one to do the job.
