Negotiate a set fee before hiring this attorney! A normal contested Divorse proceeding in Michigan is 12k mine was 37k beacuse of attorneys lack of communication with client regarding the law and what is written. Remember Lawyers are buisness people and buisness is good without a set fee going in.
