I hired Edna Eliot during my divorce and her actions were inexcusable. Since my daughter is now a family law attorney, I am more acutely aware of just how bad Eliot's behavior was. If I had taken her "advice" she would be guilty of malpractice. Thank goodness for my accountant who made me fire her. Interestingly, I ran into other women who had hired her and felt very uncomfortable with her. They had similar complaints.
