My husband and I were looking to file bankruptcy. We sent all of our materials to Ms. Thompson's assistant. This was all leg work on my part to complete and acquire all of the needed materials. I communicated with Ms. Thompson's assistant about what my husband and I wanted to do. We then came in and meet with Ms. Thompson for 2 hours. While we were there she had us go away for 30 minutes so she could read our material. When we came back she told us we made too much money to file (a fact she should have known before we meet) and then tried to talk us into filing a different type of bankruptcy we were not interested in filing. We said goodbye and later we received a bill in the mail for more than $800. We had already put down $300 so we owed her more than $500. An amount that was a hardship for us because we are already having problems paying off our bill. I would not recommend this woman to anyone.
