Mr. Hogan came highly recommended by a BK attorney I used in 2010. He was very expensive, $300/hr. He cost me tens of thousands of dollars by not willing to fight an unfair child support situation on my behalf, claiming the judge and spouse's atty. were behaving illegally. Losses I'm claiming were primarily for children claimed by my spouse on taxes against the divorce decree. In spite of my child choosing to live with me, he still squandered the opportunity to fight appropriately for me to retain child support for this child. I ended up overpaying child support for the child living with me for an additional 14 months, and paying for him to resolve, which cost thousands more. He billed me three times in three years, then harassed me for more prompt payment. He berated me on the phone when I was delayed in providing information which he requested a couple days prior (was working out of town and procuring documents). He even missed a court date sent substitute.

I was referred by the Board to Terry Hogan, and I learned more from Google than his consultation. He then told me to give him two weeks after discussing about the possible malpractice case so he can do some research. Two weeks went by and no phone call, two months went by and still no phone call. I then called him multiple times and left messages, but still no reply. I ended up going to his website and email him from there, telling him how bad of an attorney he is. He finally replied via email with a "I was busy", "Sorry", and "good luck!" I would highly NOT recommend this lawyer as he is very unorganized, bad communications, do not do what he promised, bad value and work ethics. Stay away!
