This attorney is representing a former client of mine who still owes me over $18K. Despite numberous attempts to contact him by phone, email, certified and regular post, he refuses to return my calls, etc, since mid-Julyexcept for one letter informing me that I should re-evaluate my hours charged, which I did, including comments from her former atty and trustees. I finally turned my client over for collection, dropping my fee by $3K just to end things, and he still refuses to contact me or the collection agency. I intend to report him to the State Bar Assn, as I think this is an egregious abuse of power. To add further insult to injury, I have not been able to work since I finished with this client because of two broken feet and being on crutches, which cost me a job which would have netted $50K, and was scheduled prior to the aforementioned client's multiple hospitalizations.
