My father entered into a contingency fee agreement with this man to represent him in a personal injury action against the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St Pete, Fl. The case is cited on Mr Fox's website. Mr Fox entered into a settlement with the hospital, for not one penny more than had already been negotiated by my father, and received a check from the hospital corporation. Mr Fox submitted a release form to my mother who signed it understanding that she would receive payment. Mr Fox was paid by the hospital corporation but has never shared the agreed upon amount (seveal thousand dollars) with the plaintiff (now deceased) or plaintiff's family.
Do not hire this lawyer (who is really a solo practitioner despite appearances and statements to the contrary on the website. No "firm" exists). I very much fear that he preys on seniors and/or their estates or estate executors. Florida Bar complaint is outstanding and he has been disciplined before,
a fact my father was unaware.
