I have worked with Alison twice now, most recently for both buying and selling condos in Hoboken. Our buyers were incredibly difficult and Alison helped navigate a difficult closing with calm and ease. She is very responsive both by phone and email and we felt fully supported by her. She knows the Hoboken real estate market very well and I highly recommend her!

Warning — Not Recommended!
She tried to charge us a higher fee without our knowledge, and when we discovered it, she gave irrelevant excuses. She then refused to complete the work — including handling the full transfer of funds from the property sale — and was, to put it mildly, extremely unpleasant throughout the process. We are in the process of filing a formal complaint against her with the New Jersey Bar Association.

Worked with Alison on a property sale in Hoboken. There is something wrong with Alison, both mentally and emotionally, obvious in the way she deals with people and her perceptions of reality. Maybe she is a poor law education or just doesn’t understand the role of a good attorney in getting deals closed. Maybe she fancies herself some kind of important person is real estate, who knows, but what I do know is she is exactly the kind of person that gives attorneys a bad rep. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. I felt like I had a friend advocating for me! Alison helped me through a recent sale and purchase, and both included issues I couldn't manage on my own. Her advice and guidance along the way was so valuable.

Alison Borelli has represented me in numerous purchases and sales. She is knowledgeable, concerned and works for her clients. She is totally professional, approachable and prompt in returning calls. Her thorough research helped us enormously. I have recommended many people, and all of them have been more than satisfied and very grateful. She's excellent.

I had a traumatic experience with Alison as my representation. She would not respond promptly, used bully tactics on me, and almost made us lose the property deal. I eventually had to drop her as my lawyer. She made this whole experience less than exciting.

Very disappointed with my recent experience. Alison did not fight for my interests, did not support me with her knowledge and in general did not bother to learn about case details. Throughout the process I felt that I'm not represented.

She's a bully. A miserable person. Very poor communicator in terms of getting a deal done and accommodating both parties in a property sale. Threatening all those people (realtors, other lawyer) involved with false information (she couldn't keep closing dates organized and didn't even communicate with her own client.) Very disappointed that people like this are allowed to practice law and are so unjust themselves. I will never work with her again. Very disappointed. Beware and have good people on your side of the deal THAT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING if you ever want it to happen properly!
