Free consultation misleading. Felt pushed into hiring him. Said things he did not follow thru with. Did little bit of work that was done in the first week, then nothing for a month, till I called. By then I was in some trouble for not complying with what the opposition asked. When finally discharged him, with a balance still on retainer, he suddenly came up with unexplained back charges, which not only used up the remainder of retainer, but surprisingly resulted in a balance due, payable before he will release any documents for a new lawyer. Seems to only want money, and do nothing while you wait, and lose precious time.

After receiving a $4000.00 retainer Mr. sigman worked a total of 30 minutes on my case (appeared at a hearing)and then withdrew without informing me because he claimed I owed him another $2000.00! Complaint with the bar pending.
