After many days in trial, the jury had the opportunity to ask Vertetis what was the trial about, his answer "You would have to ask the men in the WWII trenches, they were there" (not an exact quote) This was a personal injury case, and when the jury asked what was the injury, Vertetis talked about a newspaper article about unrelated newpaper article about a child who had received treatment at various Emergency Departments and the diagnosis was unknown....Where were the surveilance tapes witnessing the injury, not admitted in court!! Too many issues to list, it was a miscarriage of a personal injury case, and a waste of the jurors time.
