If you want a nasty divorce go to her, she would try to make it nasty so she can make money even if you make it clear that you want a peaceful divorce. I lost so much money, she gets unprofessional, nasty & even greedier if she doesn't get it her way. she will be so nice & caring when you meet her for consultation. She will make sure she gets all of your money. please don't trust her.

I had to replace her six months into the case. She is temperamental and only cares about how much she can bill you. She is knowledgeable about the law but most of the time I felt intimidated and she tends to focus on things that don't hold much weight. She does things the old school way and charges you for every single thing from a stamp to mail you a notice to a copy of a sheet of paper. She rarely communicates by email. Bring a lot of money if you want to work with her.

Martha has helped me through several contentious legal matters. In addition to her analysis of the law, she always helped me focus on the practical ramifications of any decision I had to make. I would definitely recommend her.

She has a volatile temper and unprofessional demeanor. As long as things are going well, she's very likeable. Separation, divorce, and custody, however, are inherently nasty and rancorous matters, and she becomes very temperamental when challenged. In a court proceeding or mediation, you don't want to be represented by someone who can't control her emotions and behavior. Luckily, the way she talked and reacted to me, long before my court appearance, convinced me to replace her. I did *not* want her on my "team."

Martha McQuade of McQuade Bynum did an outstanding job representing my interests to separate and divorce my spouse. Martha’s candid advice, counsel and professionalism allowed me to proceed through this painful process, successfully with fair and equitable results for my daughter and me. Without her experience and expertise, It is quite possible that I would have suffered irreparable financial ruin. I recommend Martha McQuade to anyone that needs legal representation in separation / divorce.

Awful experience with this lawyers. It was clear she was more interested in billing as much as possible, prolonging issues that were of no benefit to anyone, than finding an efficient resolution to the case. Trust her at your own risk, and bring plenty of money.

Martha McQuade has provided absolutely superb service to my family and I over the period of 13 years. I trust her completely, as she has the highest of ethical standards. Over the years, she has shown genuine concern for my family in three adverse situations, and her legal knowledge, instincts for the right actions and presence of mind have "carried the day" for us in each of these situations. She is always poised and composed in the most difficult situations, inspiring confidence in us, as we faced unsubstantiated legal challenges on our resources. Her preparation for court was always comprehensive, as was her preparation of me for giving testimony. In summary, we could not be more pleased with the legal services Martha McQuade provided to our family. submitted by Richard Seitz, Reston, VA.

I found this woman to be the worst of what lawyers have a reputation for being. Her outrageous billing added insult to my injury, and I felt more like I was serving her rather than the other way around. Perhaps worst of all, she didn't seem to have any grasp of the "big picture" in my case. She seemed much more comfortable and happy to deal with the minute details of visitation schedules (which takes many billable hours) rather than ways in which I could keep the house where said visitation would happen. It was one of the worst "professional" relationships I've ever had.
