Horrible. My case was continued every month for over a year by the prosecution because the their evidence was in the end, fabricated. Despite Dodd knowing this, he did absolutely nothing on my behalf. I already paid him thousands and did not have any alternatives at that point to get a different attorney. Finally, the police found the fired officer to testify and they found me guilty with a sentence of one year in prison. After which, I never experienced someone so admittedly incompetent at their job. He literally said, "I'm sorry, I dropped the ball on this one." I dropped the ball?!?!? I just got a year in prison because he "dropped the ball?" Scandalous, unresponsive, unreliable, and certainly not looking out for the best interests of his clients. For your own sake, DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH L. MIKE DODD.

I had to hire another attorney to undo the damage that happened with Mr. Dodd. Mr.Dodd told me that if I pleaded guilty that I would get a PJC and I would not have a conviction on my record. It turned out to be a big problem for me. The next attorney I hired stated that he did not think that Mr.Dodd adequately informed me of my rights and he helped get the case dismissed. I felt like Mr. Dodd treated my case like it was a menacing afterthought. Mr. Dodd told me that I was spending too much time thinking about my case. But I think it was too much time for him. Maybe it was easy for Mr. Dodd to think I was spending too much time because it wasn't his life on the line.
