I would be very wary about hiring Henry Carpenter. I hired him to settle an estate, and his unresponsiveness to important questions which I had been asking of his staff for months went unanswered. I was advised by the staff that he needed to answer questions pertaining to a trust, and Henry never followed up. This negligence has likely cost the beneficiaries a lot of lost gains because the money has not been invested, pending action from Henry Carpenter. He's likely got more clients than he can handle, and that's not a good thing for clients. I received many excuses from his staff as to why my requests had not been addressed, but after numerous inquiries, no action was taken. I ultimately had to part ways. Then I received the bill. It doesn't match up with my accounting, and it seems as though an exorbitant amount of time was billed for simple issues. I'd hate to see this type of inaction effect an elderly person or their family. Beware.

I hired Mr Carpenter to handle my mother's estate and the service I received was horrible!. Starting with his wife who is extremely nasty at times to waiting forever to receive a return phone call! This has been one of the worst experiences of my life!

I hired Mr. Carpenter last year to do my estate planning documents. I still have not received my estate planning documents. His wife, who is the office manager, told me that because staff left that was the reason why I still have not received them. I asked to speak to Mr. Carpenter and I had to make an appointment and then call back. I have requested my money back on various occasions and yet to receive it. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY. I will be dead by the time I get my documents!

Henry has been handling my grandmothers estate and working with him and his staff has been a HORRIBLE experience. He is very unprofessional and lacks the skill to handle a basic estate issues and NOTHING is done in a timely manner. I would not recommend him to anyone, he is incompetent and rude.
