We began with Kennedy Hodges over 3 1/2 years ago. There were no online reviews posted (aside from a couple suspiciously generic, overly positive reviews). In the initial consult, David Hodges was knowledgeable about the direction our case would take. After taking our case, we were promptly transferred to another attorney in San Antonio. We were given the impression their fees were roughly 33%. There are also admin. fees which can reach 2%. David Hodges was very adamant their office keeps those fees at a minimum. They were not. We were told they try to settle most cases out of court. Otherwise, the fee went to 45%. We settled in mediation but still paid 45%. I can only assume they went to court on our behalf and agreed to a mediation. The communication has been almost non existent. I heard back 2-3 times a year, during the 1st two years. I've actually felt that I should hire another attorney to represent me... Which is definitely not reassuring.
