Extremely capable and very, very experienced. Low charges compared to the competition. She can evidently be abusive in private (only going by my own experience), but she did very good work. I want particularly to commend how honest she was with me about the process, what my expectations should be, and so forth -- she cut thru more crap in ten minutes than three other lawyers were able or willing to do in months. Due to her abrasive style, she may not be for you; but if she is a fit, you'll be glad she's in your corner.

Very knowledgeable but hard to work with. I had everything done as far as paperwork so very little for her to organize. I thought I had a good case but she kept insisting I was not in as strong a position. Sometimes very negative. I am intelligent and successful so could overlook her abrasive approach. She was highly recommended. She has good working relations with other attorneys. They know she can be tough in court so we got a settlement out of court and it was fair.

It depends on what you are looking for in a divorce . If you want a lawyer that places her own agenda and desire above the clients then she is a good match. If you want alawyer that cares about the children in the divorce then she is not for you. I found that she would go out on here own direction trying to achieve some goal that was in her mind and not follow my desire to maintain a decent working relationship with my ex for the sake of our children.

I never felt as though she was on my side. She was forgetful and made contradictory statements and I did most of the legwork myself - including calling and arranging witnesses for my trial. She was very negative in general. I settled for much less because I felt strongly she would not advocate well for me at trial. She spoke down to me and left me feeling extremely vulnerable. In the end, my ex husband negotiated 102.00 a month in child support payments for two children, (he has one 6 days a month and the other none) and I was too beat down to argue. I should have been more of an advocate for myself - but was so overwhelmed with the emotions that I was not able to do that. I wish I had looked more carefully for an attorney that was well recommended. It is important - so I advise others to take more care in making this important decision when starting divorce proceedings.
